The Financial Analyst III SWHP is responsible for consulting and advising senior management on financial and operational issues impacting the strategic financial plans of the organization working independently. Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, including regulatory reporting as applicable.

The Financial Analyst III SWHP coordinates, analyzes and advises on departmental/divisional financial variance reports; analyzes financial results; investigates opportunities to enhance revenue and/or reduce cost; advises on issues related to the financial operations and meets with senior management to review financial operation. Strives to meet deadlines on special projects and studies; manages and analyzes financial information related to the end of month close cycle; communicates timely information to the G/L coordinator for posting to books and records; reviews month end data after close cycle for completeness and analyzes complex financial information to ensure financial reports have a high degree of integrity.

Evaluates month end process and recommends processes for improvement; reviews and creates advanced Invision reports for internal financial analysis; writes and disseminates PS Invision reports for financial analysis; completes assigned report writing projects on time; analyzes data to determine reporting needs and creates advanced Ad Hoc reports as requested. Responsible for the education of senior management on uses of financial reports; performs and communicates complex analysis for external users and provides management appropriate financial analysis timely and efficiently. Oversees the analysis of complex lines of business for continued operations; recommends changes in financial operations that improves financial performance.

Prepares and presents relevant data and reports in a timely, accurate, and user friendly format (sub-reports, charts, graphs, etc.) appropriate for the audience and the desired results.

Collects and analyzes data from the appropriate sources, identifies any unusual trends or issues, and resolves problems or discrepancies as needed.

Performs financial analysis and modeling for budget and forecasting projects.  Assists with preparation of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.  Analyzes, interprets and communicates revenues, costs, statistical, and expense variances to management. 

The ideal The Financial Analyst III SWHP candidate is proficient with MS Office applications (especially Excel, Power BI, and Power Point), has strong leadership, analytical skills, and written and verbal communication skills.

- EDUCATION - Bachelor's

- EXPERIENCE - A minimum of 7 years experience required

                             Medical group experience preferred
