The Hemodialysis Unit (HDU) at SAVAHCS is a 16-chair unit caring for Acute and Chronic Patients. The HDU is connected to the hospital, therefore we provide acute dialysis in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Step Down Unit (SDU). Staff work closely with the Renal Physicians, Social Worker, and Dietitian, providing a multidisciplinary environment for our Veterans. Nursing staff and technicians work closely to provide a safe environment for the Veterans Hemodialysis treatment. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
