Serving one of the nation's top community hospitals, the Database Administrator position supports a growing philanthropy team by providing comprehensive database support and analysis for the annual fund, major and planned gifts, marketing, communications, and events for Memoria Medical Center Foundation (MMCF). The Database Administrator is part of a high-performing team that together, implements a comprehensive development program of identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding annual, major and planned gift donors and prospects for restricted and unrestricted needs in support of MMCF’s mission. They will also execute a wide range of research activities including wealth verification, institutional linkage, philanthropic information, and biographic data, utilizing various research resources and tools, including online databases, internet searches, donor records, and print materials.
Essential Job Outcomes & Functions
Enter and maintain all constituent data.
Execute queries, imports, and exports, accurately update gifts, pledge and appeal records, and reconcile gift reports with the Finance office.
Provide support related to the creation of donor lists and reports for events, annual giving, direct mail projects, major gifts, and planned giving initiatives.
Prepare prospect research lists and profiles, prepare donor acknowledgements, fundraising reports, benchmarking surveys, and metrics.
Assists with the design and development of website, donation portals, and all aspects of online fundraising platforms. Manages all data related to an event and its constituencies and member groups.
Prepare donor profiles and biographical sketches of donors and prospects. Assists in the implementation of strategies and practices for the proactive discovery of new donor prospects.
Developing MS Excel spreadsheets tools to manipulate data as needed.
Provides customer/event participant support for all aspects of annual and Charity of Choice events and online/offline fundraising in an accurate and timely manner.
