The Senior Financial Analyst position is responsible for developing, interpreting and implementing financial concepts for financial and capital planning. This individual must update and report out on the changes to capital plan and be prepared to offer input and suggestions on potential areas of opportunity.
Primary areas of responsibility are to track and analyze the cost performance of multiple capital projects while providing analytics and variance commentary on a monthly basis. Actively engage with operational and finance leaders to assist in the development of value propositions, SBARs, and to review capital requests.
Deliver support and reporting to leaders ensuring that they have the required data/information to accurately report out on capital
Own monthly capital variance reporting including discrepancy resolution and follow up on variances
Prepare materials for the capital oversight group and other capital committees as directed by the capital oversight group
Attend all capital group meetings to provide support and analytics.
Deliver support for operational areas as needed and interface with other shared business services to ensure alignment with the approved capital process.
Own the capital policies and procedures documentation to ensure the latest information is available to operations and finance leaders.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration.
4 -6 years and/or equivalent experience in accounting or finance related role
