The Recruiter II is responsible for coordinating and executing the full cycle recruitment of qualified candidates to meet current and future staffing needs including developing and implementing creative recruiting strategies; candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, relocating, and recommending appropriate salaries. This includes sourcing, screening, and recommending prospective experienced candidates for employment based on defined hiring needs and job specifications. The Recruiter is responsible for determining the optimal method to develop and maintain a highly qualified candidate pool. The Recruiter will partner with CHRISTUS Hiring Managers to assess recruiting strategies and implement local and national initiatives to meet the staffing needs of these business units.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for sourcing, recruiting, selecting, interviewing, and evaluating a variety of candidates.
Responsible for coordinating screens and interviews with all internal management, as well as hiring managers.
Work with Management leadership to determine hiring needs and ensure that cost effective recruitment strategies are implemented to meet hiring requirements.
Work with hiring managers to develop and maintain job descriptions, requirements, and other related documentation.
Develop sourcing strategies and networks using various methods such as the Associate referral programs, mentoring programs, Internet resources, advertising resources, professional associations, schools, alumni programs, networking, external referrals, diversity resources, etc.
Facilitate team interviewing. Actively manage the recruitment program and provide subject matter expertise on recruiting issues.
Consult with management staff on various issues such as salary expectations, availability issues, and expediting the hiring process.
Utilize a variety of sources to identify and recruit candidates, including referrals, online database services, newsgroups, college recruiting opportunities, and advertisements.
Along with line management, responsible for negotiating salary, relocation expenses, travel, and various other issues.
Highly involved in the design, creation and implementation of quarterly reports, including graphs, computations, and the selection of metrics to be measured such as vacancy and retention rates.
Assist business units in achieving substantial financial goals through strategic staffing efforts.
Evaluate recruiting efforts to continually improve recruiting processes and quality of talent brought into the organization.
Ensure that appropriate records and statistical reports covering recruitment and hiring activity are maintained. Ensure data integrity and entry into CHRISTUS' applicant tracking system.
Participate in recruitment initiatives or conferences as needed.
Develop recruiting plans and tactics to hire new Associates and develop an effective pipeline of key talent potentially available for immediate hire. Stays informed of recruiting trends.
