The Director of Patient Financial Services has a broad scope of responsibility in overseeing the management of the hospital and physician business office, including billing, collections and accounts receivable. In this key role, you will provide leadership, direction, mentoring and development support to staff to ensure operational excellence.
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Accounting, Finance or related field; equivalent combination of education/experience may be considered
Five years of management-level experience in hospital revenue cycle with expertise in billing and collections
Progressive leadership experience in healthcare, including coordinating and assigning work, managing performance, mentoring, training and developing staff
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including the use of Excel add-ons), Medicare MAC, Carrier and ERP systems; EMR and Cerner strongly preferred
Advanced knowledge of patient financial services and patient access/scheduling
