Along with recruiting, screening, interviewing, and effectively recommending salaries for clerical, support, entry level and some technical positions, you will counsel and advise supervisory staff on employment policies/procedures, as well as serve as a resource for solving employment issues within operating departments.
Reviewing resumes and employment inquiry forms while ensuring proper delivery of same to appropriate hiring managers/supervisors
Reviewing job postings to ensure accuracy with positions and discuss with Hiring Managers when changes necessary.
Working in conjunction with Hiring Managers you will interview and make hiring decisions.
Reviewing Internal Transfer Requests. Accurately informs requesting EE about the Transfer Policy and Procedures. Advises EE about possible changes in salary and benefit status.
Coordinating interviews with managers and dept heads for hiring both external candidates and internal transfer candidates.
Accurately preparing and presenting appropriate salary information to potential employees for the Healthcare System.
Working with Compensation when necessary.
Participating in New Hire Resident Orientation.
Successfully preparing candidates for pre-employment hiring process including scheduling physicals, preparing background check information and reference checking.
Completing Personnel Transaction Forms to ensure process is complete.
Promptly informing hiring managers and candidates of any possible delays.
Attending various open houses and job fairs to gather information about potential employees for the Healthcare System.
Meeting all required competencies for department, unit and/or hospital.
Handling other related duties as assigned.
To qualify, you must have Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field, and 2-3 years of work related experience. The ability to draft and edit content of business and technical documents, conduct formal training/orientation sessions for employees, and interact with all levels of staff will be expected, as will excellent oral/written communication, analytical, problem-solving and PC skills.
