Hospitality. Leadership. Innovation. Drive. Edgewater, a WesleyLife Community for Healthy Living has a rare and exciting opportunity! We are looking for a purpose-driven and hospitality-focused leader to drive our vision of an exceptional health and wellness experience for older adults in the West Des Moines area.
As an award-winning, active living community in the Greater Des Moines area, Edgewater meshes the luxuries of modern day with the timelessness of Frank Lloyd Wright's prairie-inspired design. From the day spa to the 89-degree saltwater pool to courtyards and the fire pit, we have sprinkled Edgewater with resort-like amenities. We have recently completed a major expansion, adding 33 beautiful, customized apartments and incredible common spaces.
We are a health and wellbeing organization. WesleyLife’s purpose is to ensure every person has the opportunity to live a life of purpose and engagement regardless of physical, social or economic circumstances. Our Executive Director has the opportunity to help the people we serve and our team members live into their purpose every day! Engaging those we serve, connecting the team to our mission and driving outcomes to ensure our future success will be top priorities for our new Executive Director.
You will have leadership accountability for our community for healthy living campus which includes 182 apartments and town homes, 47 assisted living and AL memory support apartments, and 40 health center rooms. You will lead and influence a team of approximately 150 team members with an exceptional and tenured leadership team. The Executive Director also has responsibility for the growth of in-home services in collaboration with our community services team so that we can offer a full continuum of health and wellbeing services to all of Dallas and Polk Counties.
