The Breast Care Patient Navigator (BCPN) serves as a patient care coordinator ensuring seamless coordination of services throughout the continuum of breast care. The BCNP will support both the patient and family if there is a diagnosis of breast cancer. BCNP serves as a single point of contact for physicians, patients, and caregivers to provide resources and assistance with accessing clinical and supportive care services offered within CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health System and in the community. The BCNP will provide evidence-based medical information and guide the patient to both internal and external support services. The BCPN will facilitate rapid scheduling/coordination of follow up care, multi-disciplinary service referral, compliance and treatment plan.
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
Four (4) years' experience in Mammography required.
Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology) and Mammography Registry with ARRT; and a Texas Department of Health CMRT (Certified Medical Radiologic Technology) license. CBPN-IC NCBC certification preferred.
