The PC Support Specialist III is responsible for the day-to-day operational support of the end user community through the installation, configuration, upgrade and maintenance of workstation and peripheral equipment, as well as ancillary administration of Microsoft SCCM and Active Directory. This includes the resolution of problems reported by the Customer Support Center and the implementation of new functionality. Documentation and adherence to policies, procedures and standards of the organization is an important part of this position. The PC Support Specialist III is responsible for delivering high quality, cost effective solutions to all levels of users. This includes support for both the technology and processes. The PC Support Specialist III is also responsible for supporting the business goals and objectives for Information Management and the organization as a Subject Matter Expert.
Microsoft MCSA or MCSE.
High School diploma. With experience requirement or/and Associates Degree in a Computer Science field.
(5) years of prior PC technical support experience.
(1) year Active Directory and Group Policy administration.
(1) year Microsoft SCCM Experience
Experience with scripting languages preferred (vbscript, PowerShell, etc)
Hardware & Software training from Microsoft, Lenovo, HP, Apple, VMware, or Citrix
