Oversees and coordinates the daily operations of the Patient Billing, Health Information Management and Patient Access areas in order to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement; supports operations by maintaining office systems and supervising staff; must be familiar with the Billing, Admissions and Medical Records functions of the Revenue
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Information Management or related discipline such as Management or Accounting (RHIA or RHIT preferred). Associates Degree plus experience will be considered.
Good communication and organizational skills, ability to read text on computers, paper or books, ability to hear normal speech, in person and over the phone, ability to constantly make decisions and adapt to change.
Previous Patient Billing and HIM experience required - HIM, hospital coding and patient billing issues in a healthcare environment.
