Reporting to the Assistant Manager of Web Services, the Social Media Coordinator is responsible for creating and maintaining online web and social media content for UF Health’s digital properties, including content for the UF Health social media accounts, ufhealth.org, and associated channels.
The Social Media Coordinator role will work with news, marketing, creative services, and communication teams to develop social campaigns and create and improve communication best practices for digital content.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Create and maintain content for UF Health’s primary social media accounts and for the UF Health blog.
Establish, implement, and maintain editorial calendars, guidelines, and best practices to ensure content is up-to-date
Monitor and report on content performance to ensure continuous improvement
Communicate and provide resources to internal social media coordinators on best practices and strategies
Monitor relevant online conversation for institutional feedback.
5 years experience in this or a related communications or marketing field
Knowledge of social media channels, and other digital tools
Experience with social media management and reporting tools
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, work independently and in collaboration with team members, and oversee work of others
